The reason i am shilling for Appsumo and all your products with friends is, that the basic functionality is bought with one strike and usually, pro features are massively reasonable wiht you guys. Now, to the exception. MCP access only for pro, but access to AI writer tokens for lifetime members makes zero sense, neither financially nor as feature.
Lifetime customers have API access already. We should be able to connect our own AI assistant through MCP. It is basically an API integration, just way more sophisticated. As a "hobby" i have been letting Claude Fable build local MCP connectors for websites with open API but not official MCP for months now, it always works. So... why pay another subscription for something that really should be a free feature?
MCP is an interface to SendFox’s existing API, while the customer supplies and pays for their own AI provider and token usage. It costs you no dime, i am paying for the inference, the mails are written locally and simply copied. The API can already do this, why not just open the MCP to everyone who paid?
Restricting MCP to Pro makes it feel like Lifetime customers are being charged again for easier API access. Consider including MCP with Lifetime or offering it as a separate low-cost add-on.
And instead, throw out the AI writer for Pro, because let's be honest: If that is a model that actually creates content you can send out without being totally embarrassed, it costs you tokens and likely a lot, because currently only 2-3 models including Fable, Opus, Sol and Kimi are capable of writing in a way that isn't a total nightmare.
So... give LIfetime users MCP access, we already have the API and it makes no sense to paywall MCP access. Honestly, I will just write my own, run it locally and have it access the API. Because that is how things work nowaday.
