Core Mechanics: What Makes FNAF 2 Unique?
Unlike the first installment, FNAF 2 completely redesigns your defense options:
- No Security Doors: The security office features a massive, open central hallway and two side air vents. You cannot close off any entrance.
- The Freddy Fazbear Mask: Your primary survival tool. Equipping the empty mascot mask tricks most approaching animatronics into believing you are one of them.
- The Flashlight System: Essential for illuminating the dark main corridor and resetting specific threats. Battery life is limited, requiring careful conservation.
- The Music Box (Prize Corner - Cam 11): A persistent countdown mechanic. You must regularly switch to Camera 11 and hold down the wind-up button to keep the Music Box running.
